We are delighted to share with you our most recent SATs results. Our results are even more impressive when compared with the National Average.

We were delighted to once again feature in The Sunday Times Top 100 Independent Prep Schools in the UK. This list is based on the results of national testing at the end of Key Stage 2 in the core areas of English and Mathematics. Belvedere Prep was ranked in 20th position. Of course, there is more to any outstanding school than just academic results, however, this is a great accolade; it is always good to receive this external validation of the high academic standards that Belvedere Prep strives to promote.

At Belvedere Prep we are proud of our pupils’ academic achievements. Our aim is to ensure that each child progresses to the Seconday School that is best suited to their individual needs; matched to their talents, interests and personality. We actively engage with families to provide ongoing support throughout the Secondary School transition process. Last year, Belvedere Prep’s entrance exam results were outstanding. Despite being a non-selective Independent Prep School, a remarkable 45% of our Year 6 pupils were awarded a place at The Blue Coat School; the only Grammar School in the City. In addition, two children were awarded Music scholarships at other schools and all children in Year 6 gained their first choice of Secondary School.

At BPS we have no fewer than 77 children taking 109 peripatetic lessons on an instrument or instruments of their choice; achieving high results in ABRSM music examinations.
